Biography
Kelvin Vivian is Associate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Marvell, which develops and produces semiconductors and related technology. At Marvell, Kelvin leads the Intellectual Property function within the Legal department and he and his team’s responsibilities cover all aspects of intellectual property protection – including patent licensing, management of IP litigation, execution of patent and trademark filing strategies, counseling on participation in standards development organizations, development of IP-related policies, open source, and resolving the variety of randomness with respect to Intellectual Property that arises. Kelvin graduated from the George Washington Law School and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, and prior to joining Marvell, Kelvin worked as an associate at Fish & Richardson, PC.
